A special place to... Find and create Lake Minnetonka Treasures! Gallery Navarre celebrates the wonderful community that is Lake Minnetonka in so many ways. For children ages 6-11, our Art Lab offers creative and artistic workshops and summer camps guided by the principles of place-based education, the elements of art and creativity, and Lake Minnetonka. We also invite anyone looking for Lake Minnetonka-themed maps, prints, original art, books, cards, games, postcards, housewares and more to immerse themselves in our Gallery space and find your special treasure. For more than 20 years, Joan Wolfe grew Gallery Navarre into a celebration of Lake Minnetonka through original art, maps, pottery, books, wood carvings, sculpture, notecards, historic postcards and more. Now, guided by Joan's daughter Wendy, a professional educator, Karen Rose, artist in residence, and the rest of the Gallery Navarre family, the Gallery continues to be open monthly and expanded into the synergy of community, history and arts education offering creative workshops for K-5 students.
