Great River School

Thank you for considering Great River School for the upcoming summer!  We have a large variety of camps for youth ages 4-18, sure to match up with at least one of your camper's passions and hobbies.  Our summer camps are primarily led by Great River School full-time staff.  Your camper is sure to have a good time, exploring their interests in a safe manner with our dedicated staff.

Most GRS Camps run Monday-Thursday. Our first week is Tue-Fri (June 20-23) due to the Juneteenth holiday.  The third week of camp is only 3 days, Wed-Fri due to the July 4th Holiday.  Half-day camp hours are 9:00-12:00 and 1:00-4:00. You can combine a morning session with an afternoon session and join us for lunch to make it a full day!  Full day camps run from 9:00-4:00.  Some camps have field trips and they are all within walking distance from GRS, so there will be no buses involved. 

This year, we are again designating camps by grade instead of age.  We’ll have camps for Pre-K/K (minimum of 4 years old), 1st-3rd, 4th-7th, 7th-10th, and 9th-12th.  When registering, use the grade your camper is going into for the fall of 2023. We are once again offering a Friday Fun Day for families that need that extra day of child care.  You can add this on to your week during the registration process.  This will be from 9:00-4:00 and for 1st-7th graders.  We will take a variety of walking field trips every week.
