Warm up winter break with ArtStart’s two-day morning camps—choose one session or do both. Russia, one of the world’s largest countries spanning Eastern Europe and Northern Asia, sets the scene. Join ArtStart artists for a whirlwind tour of Moscow and St. Petersburg, then create art inspired by Russian composers, artists, and folk traditions. Dec 22–23: paint Matroushka nesting dolls with Jeanette Dickinson, an iconic sunset skyline of St. Basil’s and Ivan the Great’s Bell Tower with Karen Anderson. Dec 29–30: hand-build a Dymkovo clay figure with Gustavo Boada, then craft Peter and the Wolf finger puppets with Julie Boada.
