The Works Museum is a hands-on, minds-on engineering museum for kids ages 5 to 12. I am a doctoral candidate at the University of Rochester studying how U.S.-born college students with immigrant parents navigate multiple cultural expectations at home and at college. This research examines how these experiences affect students' mental health and academic success, with the goal of helping colleges provide more effective support, retention programs, and culturally responsive counseling services.
