Carpenter Nature Center

Nestled at the confluence of the St. Croix and Mississippi Rivers near Hastings, and located only thirty minutes from the metro, Carpenter St. Croix Valley Nature Center provides a unique opportunity to learn and explore the outdoors. Carpenter Nature Center’s primary goal is to connect people of all ages with nature. We offer environmental education for all learning levels with programs throughout the year. Carpenter Nature Center offers a variety of summer camp opportunities for youth ages 5 to 17, including plant & animal encounters, fishing, canoeing, and more. Campers will learn to foster an appreciation for the natural world while making friends.
