The Bakken Museum

Located on the shore of Bde Maka Ska (Lake Calhoun) in Minneapolis, The Bakken Museum offers exhibits, events, camps, and clubs focused on inspiring a passion for innovation in youth and adults. Visit the newly renovated museum! Explore what inspires us in Spark, get spooked in Frankenstein's Laboratory, and test out some of Ben Franklin's favorite static electricity experiments. The Bakken Museum inspires a passion for innovation by exploring the potential for science, technology, and the humanities to make the world a better place.

The Bakken Museum offers summer and school break camps, outreach programs in community centers and libraries, LEGO Robotics and Inventors clubs, and new activities each weekend in Science Studio.
