Located in downtown St. Paul, the Science Museum of Minnesota is the Upper Midwest's must-see, must-do museum. Sharing discoveries with the world from downtown St. Paul, the Science Museum works to help everyone see themselves in science.The museum’s current location on the banks of the Mississippi River in Saint Paul offers 370,000 square feet of space. It includes a 10,000-square-foot temporary exhibit gallery, five permanent galleries, acres of outdoor space, and an Imax Convertible Dome Omnitheater. Open Fridays and Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sundays, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with early access for Science Museum Members at 9 a.m. each day. All tickets must be reserved in advance at smm.org or (651) 221-9444. Masks required.
