Camp Mishawaka
Since 1910, Camp Mishawaka’s motto has been 'Safety, Health and Happiness' and this continues to serve as our guiding principle today.
Camp Mishawaka is along the eastern shore of Pokegama Lake in northern Minnesota and is a perfect setting for traditional summer camp activities.
Campers are ages 8 - 16 and boys and girls are housed in separate but adjacent camps. Boys and girls share program facilities and eat together for each meal.
While we do have some co-ed activities, we are careful to allow plenty of time for boys to be boys and girls to be girls.
We are a smaller camp, with a capacity of 80 boys and 80 girls per session.
This size allows our staff and administration to know each camper by name, and to take a personal interest in the health and well-being of each child.
