Get ready to dazzle in our Slime, Sparkles, & Science camp! Young scientists will explore the magic of glitter and learn about light refraction by making a spinning, shining disco ball, crafting a shimmering suncatcher, and will even make a new slime each day. Through these hands-on experiments, they’ll discover how tiny sparkles create dazzling rainbows and uncover the science behind the shimmer!

At The Works Museum, kids are the designers, creators, and problem solvers - the engineers! Our camps for kids ages 5-12 include topics like robotics, architecture, coding, LEGO engineering, carpentry, and more. With half-day, whole-day, 1-day, and 4-day options, there's a summer camp that will fit your family's schedule.

Dancers dive deeper into the art form through exploring barre work and movement to different tempos of music. Each class builds coordination and flexibility while encouraging teamwork and self-expression. Using games, imagery, and storytelling, dancers will transform learned elements into collaborative dance pieces that spark imagination, confidence, and connection with others.This 6-week session ends with a short recital for family and friends.

Monday-Thursday day camp for kids ages 6-8 who enjoy exploring nature and gardens. Investigate the beehives behind the garden with a beekeeper, explore what it takes to care for a garden, and make snacks and crafts with the plants from the garden.

Camp Poyntelle has been making children’s summer dreams come true since 1947. As a premier Jewish summer camp, we offer a traditional sleepaway experience filled with amazing memories, lasting friendships and nurturing and compassionate staff. We feel that camp is one of the few places a child can be their own person, without judgment or social pressure. Spend summer break singing, dancing, playing, and imagining at Stages Theatre! Summer Theatre Workshops are taught by professional teaching artists and are designed to give students an opportunity to get creative, make friends, explore the arts, and have a whole lot of fun over summer break!

Explore the farm, care for animals, get your hands dirty, and discover how nature works! Spend your afternoons outdoors hiking trails, playing games, completing farm chores, and diving into exciting hands-on challenges. Campers will learn by doing, shaking cream into butter, planting in the garden, using simple tools, caring for goats and chickens, exploring bugs and pollinators, and navigating with maps and compasses.

Big Island Bouldering is excited to offer Summer Day Camps running from 9am- 2pm with two age group options (7-9yrs and 10+ yrs). Kids will learn climbing skills, build confidence, make new friends, and have a blast both on and off the wall. Whether they’re new to climbing or already love it, our coaches create a fun, supportive, and unforgettable camp environment.

Tendu, Plié, Chassé! Pre-Ballet introduces dancers to ballet and expressive movement. Dancers will explore ballet positions, textures of movement, and musicality to prepare for the next steps in their dancing journey. Each class progresses through simple exercises rooted in classical ballet techniques, then concludes with dancing a tale they explored in class. This 6-week session ends with a short recital for family and friends.

GRADES 1 – 3 Summer Theatre Workshops for Grades 1-3 focus on developing theatre skills in a fun, supportive, and collaborative environment. Guided by professional Teaching Artists, students will work together to explore and expand their “Actor Toolbox” – their body, voice, and imagination! As part of the last day of the workshop, families are invited to join us for a short presentation of skills learned throughout the week. 

GRADES 4 – 6 Summer Theatre Workshops for Grades 4-6 students focus on developing and honing theatrical skills. Guided by professional Teaching Artists, students will spend their days collaborating as an ensemble of performers. They will work with themes and material that excites them and expands their skillsets. As part of the last day of workshop, families are invited to join us for a short presentation of skills learned throughout the week.  

Ages 3-5 Explore nature, play outside, be a Curious George scientist, get messy like Picasso, sing your heart out! Start your mornings off right with some time at camp! Summer is meant for playing so join other preschoolers while socializing in a nurturing outdoor environment.

At the Workshop students play their instruments and learn jazz improvisation, music theory, jazz history, and more. Participants work on jazz in small combos while being mentored by professional jazz musicians. Open to instrumentalists ages 13 and up.

This camp is truly special and unlike any other! We are passionate about engaging children in the wonders of nature and science. Throughout the camp, kids will have the opportunity to participate in various activities, including bird banding!

Phipps Summer Arts Camp gives kids ages 3–18 the chance to explore dance, theater, and visual arts all summer long. Choose from seven weeks of camps and mix and match to build the perfect creative summer for your kid!

Animal Humane Society offers full-day camps throughout the summer. Various programs serve youth entering grades 3-10. We create a unique experience for campers so they can return to our programs year after year.
