JOIN US for the ICC Youth School's celebration of Carnevale di Venezia, an Italian tradition worthy of attention. Discover the context and meaning of the world-famous Carnevale, its elaborate masks, and how they are an integral part of Venice's history. Watch video clips of the glamorous Ballo del Doge (Doge's Masquerade Ball) and Volo dell'angelo (Angel's Flight) and immerse yourself in a magical atmosphere. Learn how to make (and taste!) typical Carnevale treats made throughout Italy and called by different names depending on the region. Kids will enjoy crafts events like mask-decorating and hat-making. This event is FREE, but we ask you to register to help us plan.
