Program Highlights

Every camper will make and take home his or her own unique project.

Campers have access to a large variety of materials and tools for project building.

There is a very high ratio of staff to students (usually a 1:6 ratio).

Campers have opportunities to work in small collaborative groups and individually.

Campers will exercise their creative thinking skills every day.

Students will be trained to confidently work with a number of different tools in the workshop.

Campers are a part of community of like minded students who all share a common interest in making and doing.

Summer camps at The Bakken empower students to take control of their environment.

The camp curriculum is focused around the process of invention and problem solving, skills that can be put to use in all aspects of their life.
