Presidents Day All Day Camp at Active Solutions

These Active Solutions All Day Gym Camps are perfect for the child that needs more movement in their lives! Lessons are designed and taught by Minneapolis Schools - Burroughs PE Teacher Pete Hill to keep kids engaged in learning activities and to keep their heart rates elevated.

(Grades K-6)

Children will experience many different activities during each dayʼs sessions, such as lifelong sport, recreation, and fitness: most all individual and team sports, rope jumping, racket games, track and field, kickball, tag games, ultimate frisbee, capture the flag, frisbee golf, foursquare, floor hockey, bowling, volleyball, lord of the rings, pin guard, tangle town, mini mighty stations, pits and allies, Danish baseball and many others. Teachers also incorporate math, reading, health, nutrition, and wellness into their lessons.

Winter walking field trips along Minnehaha Creek and to the Park may include, hiking, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, sledding, broomball, boot soccer, boot hockey, ice hockey and ice skating (weather permitting).

Please bring one very big lunch, two very big snacks, coat, snow pants, boots, gloves or mittens, hat, shorts, t-shirts, gym shoes, sweat pants/shirts, swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, ice skates and helmet (not required), water bottle and 2 books to read.
