Travel around the world this summer! YWCA Minneapolis summer camps are safe, fun and diverse learning experiences designed for many ages, skill sets and interests. Kids will explore art, music and science while celebrating cultures and traditions from Africa to the United Kingdom. Each child will create a photo journal to capture the memories of their favorite activities, foods and adventures from the summer. Each child will also be getting their very own passport that will be updated each week based on the country they “visit!”
We take health and safety very seriously and will continue to evaluate our protocols based on the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH).
We provide hands-on learning specific to the ages, needs and interests of our campers.
Our camp features:
- Games
- STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) theme-based activities
- Service and cultural activities
- Arts and crafts
- Structured learning and reading time, enrichment activities and schoolwork support as needed
- Outdoor games and activities on our playgrounds
- Breakfast and lunch included
- Safe outdoor exploration of the community around us
