Join local printmaking artist Diana Eicher as she teaches you how to make color block prints. As an introduction, Diana will show examples of prints, blocks, and tools. Participants will then learn how to draw and transfer their drawing to the block, use carving tools, and print their design first in black and white. Next color printing, layering, and print registration will be taught. Participants will carve two Spreedy Carve rubber blocks and print with two colors. Non-toxic water based inks will be used. All materials are provided. This program is for youth ages 12-18.
