Step into the world of art and civilization. Guided by Trinity art teacher Marc LeMaire, campers will create clay pots inspired by ancient Mesopotamia, weave baskets like the Egyptians, make hand-crafted paper inspired by medieval manuscript traditions, and experiment with Renaissance inventions and optical illusions in the style of Leonardo da Vinci. The week culminates in a collaborative water lily mural inspired by the Impressionist Claude Monet.
Through this weeklong creative tour, students will be invited to slow down, work with their hands, and discover the beauty and ingenuity of artists across the ages.
