Bach to Rock is a music education school for students of all ages, from early childhood through high school and beyond. In Minnesota we have locations already open in Plymouth and Coon Rapids and a new location opening in Minnetonka on the 26th. We offer private lessons on dozens of instruments, group classes, summer camps, and several early childhood music programs, and each school hosts several events per year in their surrounding community to showcase our students' talent.

Our music school takes a unique approach to music lessons, combining instruction, ensemble programs, and live performance. This way, students build skills, play with peers, and get the chance to show off their talents!

A Music School for All Ages & Skill Levels

Bach to Rock Minnetonka offers programs for all ages and skill levels. We also encourage students to choose which songs and genres they want to learn. As a result, each student can chart their own musical journey!

Here are some of the most popular programs and features at our music school:

Private & Semi-Private Lessons

Our private and semi-private music lessons are the perfect way for kids and adults to build their musical skills! We offer one-on-one lessons, as well as semi-private instruction for small groups of two or three students.

Band & Glee Club Programs

In our Band and Glee Club programs, students get to practice and perform with peers. These ensemble programs are not only a blast for students — they’re also a great way for kids to develop teamwork and social skills, similar to team sports!

Live Events & Performances

Students at Bach to Rock Minnetonka get the chance to perform at local venues in front of live audiences. Events like Battle of the Bands, Music Showcase, and Bachapalooza allow growing performers to show off their abilities and build confidence on stage.

Early Childhood Classes

It’s never too early to get started with music! Our early childhood programs include Rock n Roll (ages 1-3), Rock City® (ages 3-5), Kids n Keys (ages 5-7), and Fun with Music (ages 5-7). They’re a great way for kids to have fun, explore instruments, and learn early musical skills.

Music Camps & Parties

In addition to music lessons and classes, our music school offers camps and parties for growing musicians.. Kids get the chance to play instruments like guitar, drums, and keyboard with their friends — even if they’ve never played an instrument before!

At Bach to Rock you can choose from private music lessons, group music classes, and ensemble programs like Band and Glee Club! Our music programs include toddler, preschool, early childhood, and adult lessons.
