Where: Messiah Episcopal Church
1631 Ford Parkway, St. Paul
When: June 17 - 21, Monday to Friday
9:00 am to 3:00 pm
Who: String Players, Average Grades 4-8
Class Requirement: Level comparable to the middle of Suzuki (violin) book 2 up to book 5. Students should be able to play and read notes on all four strings with at least the first two finger patterns. Must
understand basic concepts such as dynamics, bowings and key
signatures D, G, and C major, and be able to count and read rhythms.
Tentative Schedule:
9-10:15am Large Group Rehearsal
10:30-11:15 Small Orchestra or Chamber Music
11:15-11:45 Lunch
11:45-12:45 Music History or Music Theory
1:00-2:00 Sectionals
2:00-3:00 Large Group Rehearsal
Field Trip TBD on Wednesday, June 19th
Performance on Friday, June 21nd from 2-3pm
What to Bring: Instrument, Music Stand, Water, Lunch
