MINNEAPOLIS — This weekend, Boom Island Park will host Root Beer Run 2019, a popular Mother’s Day event now in its third year. Members of the news media are invited to attend.
Root Beer Run 2019 features a one-mile or 1/2-mile run, walk or stroll, with all participants receiving a root beer float at the finish line. It also includes:
Arts and crafts
Inflatable jump house
Sensory friendly space
Food trucks from local vendors, including Tot Boss.
Sunday, May 12 at 1 p.m.
Registration/check-in begins at 12 p.m.
