Read With an Animal - Washburn Library

Grades 1-3. Volunteers will help put young readers at ease so they can cuddle up with a certified therapy animal and practice reading aloud.

Most libraries host dogs and you can call ahead to see if other animals will be visiting. Sign up for a 15-minute time slot by calling 612-543-8375. Drop-ins will be accommodated based on availability. Collaborator: Reading Education Assistance Dogs.
