*The event has already taken place on this date: Sat, 12/29/2018
Come join us for our annual Kwanzaa celebration. We will reflect upon the Nguzo Saba (7 Principles) and how to implement them in our daily actions. This years celebration falls on the 4th day of Kwanzaa which we call Ujamaa meaning Cooperative Economics.
Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
During this event we will break bread with each other, observe the ceremony led by our Great Elder Mother Zulu, and engage in conversations to help deepen our understanding of the principles and how to use them. We will also have a marketplace of community vendors. Childcare will be provided.
*Times, dates, and prices of any activity posted to our calendars are subject to change. Please be sure to click through directly to the organization’s website to verify.
