Dig into Minnesota geology and celebrate history through Indigenous perspectives! Throw an atlatl, check out Minnesotan fossils, and learn how petroglyphs were carved into stone. Ask experts from the Minnesota Historical Society, the Minnesota Geological Survey, and the Bell’s On Native Land education team all your questions about their work. Minnesota Unearthed is a once-yearly celebration — don’t take it for “granite”!

The Whitney and Elizabeth MacMillan Planetarium will have special showings of Living in Balance: Anishinaabe Star Knowledge, which highlights Anishinaabe stories of constellations and moons in relation to contemporary insights about environmental changes. Produced by Abrams Planetarium and Dr. Beth LaPensée; translated into the Western dialect of Anishinaabemowin by Winonah Ojanen (Aanakwadikwe) and Dennis Jones, narrated by Dennis Jones. *
