This special celebration will showcase the richness of Hispanic traditions while giving visitors the chance to enjoy all the exciting exhibits and experiences the Zoo has to offer.
Throughout the day, guests can dance along to the upbeat rhythms of DJ William “El Buenon” and be captivated by the colorful artistry of Ballet Folklorico Mexico Azteca in multiple live performances. Visitors can also explore a vibrant local vendor market, featuring handcrafted goods, jewelry, and textiles, and enjoy authentic Hispanic food trucks serving savory dishes and sweet treats.
All Hispanic Heritage Day activities are included with Zoo admission, making it the perfect opportunity to celebrate culture while exploring the Zoo’s animals, trails, and family-friendly attractions. Whether watching red pandas play, discovering the world’s oceans at Discovery Bay, or strolling the immersive Treetop Trail, guests can experience the best of the Minnesota Zoo while enjoying a day filled with music, dance, and community.
