Frontier Rope Making

Use a simple rope-making machine to fabricate a section of rope to take home at the Historic Pond House. Learn all about rope – a very important tool on the frontier – and how Minnesota pioneers made it themselves from plants growing in their area. The program will be held outdoors to enable social distancing and other safety measures will be taken. Free for all ages.
