MITY's ExplorSchool provides current 4th - 6th grade students the opportunity to explore their passions in an intellectually stimulating environment. Students take a morning and/or an afternoon class, choosing from unique STEM, humanities and fine arts offerings. ExplorSchool brings together like-minded peers from all over the Twin Cities to create a dynamic and fun community!

MITY's mission is to inspire and challenge intellectually curious students to pursue their passions within a diverse, inclusive community and empower them by building skills and relationships for lifelong success. We provide unique classes that enable students to learn about topics not generally taught in school, and our hands-on approach makes learning engaging and exciting. Small class sizes, field trips and guest speakers all contribute to our dynamic environment. Students can attend half day, full day, or extended day and choose from over 20 classes. Sample classes include: Real World Engineering Challenges, Model United Nations, The Physics of Sports, ArchKIDtecture, Technomathematics, and Studio Art. Financial aid is available.
