Step into the secret world of owls with Trinity science teacher Dr. Maria Schwartz. We’ll take a hike to search for signs of owl habitats and learn to “read the woods” for evidence of these elusive birds. Inside the lab, students will dissect real owl pellets to uncover what these hunters eat. Together, we’ll discuss where owls live and how they hunt. Through both fieldwork and lab investigation, students will leave with a greater appreciation of these fascinating and mysterious creatures.
