July 8-11. If you love to draw, paint and tell stories, you’ll love building your cartooning skills and working on a graphic novel! Campers will create characters, story-board ideas, and finish by making graphic novels complete with block-printed covers and traditional binding.
For kids ages 6-12, join us for Summer Art Camp Mondays through Thursday, from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
We’re excited to welcome campers to Fred Richards Park again this summer. Camps will meet at the former golf clubhouse, 7640 Parklawn Ave. As we have fun learning key art concepts and skills, we’ll take advantage of the beautiful Nine Mile Creek Regional Trail winding through the park and the nearby picnic shelter and playground.
We request that campers bring a sack lunch, water bottle, and wear sunscreen.
