This October, Stand with Trans proudly presents its sixth annual Trans Empowerment Month (TEM), a celebration of resilience, community, and love. Running from October 6 through October 30, Trans Empowerment Month offers a full calendar of engaging workshops, performances, and panel discussions designed to uplift transgender and non-binary youth, their families, and allies.
The 2025 theme, “Love Transcends,” reflects the power of connection and care to carry us beyond barriers and toward joy. Each week of TEM includes dynamic sessions for youth, parents and caregivers, and professionals. Families can expect everything from creative arts and music showcases to practical sessions on navigating healthcare, advocacy, and family support. Young people will connect with peers, mentors, and role models, while caregivers and professionals gain knowledge and tools to better support the trans community.
Some events are virtual and others take place in person, ensuring accessibility for participants across the country. Whether attending online from home or joining in person at community gatherings, attendees will find spaces of affirmation, education, and celebration.
Stand with Trans has spent more than a decade empowering trans and gender expansive youth to be their authentic selves, and Trans Empowerment Month continues this mission by creating safe, welcoming environments for growth and connection.
