Create your own zine in this exciting new collaboration between Flower City Arts Center and Writers & Books. Short for magazines, zines are small circulations of self-published books, which historically have aided in the advancement of ideas throughout communities since the 1930s. Journalist Britta Lokting describes zines as a way for young adults to “solidify their stance in society.” |
Writers & Books |
Over the course of this two- week camp, students transform into a virtual cast and crew to make a short movie based on a Newbery Medal-winning book. Writers & Books |
