Twin Cities Water Lantern Festival

This truly unique experience combines many deep emotions and feelings that represents something different for each one of the thousands of individuals who have personalized their floating lanterns. After the decorated lanterns are lit with an LED candle, participants set them upon the calm evening water and they float away into the night. Each lantern has been designed to carry dreams for the future, memories of those who've passed, hopes for peace, and love for others in a beautiful celebration of life. It's a very personal and unifying experience to witness so many emotions combined together in one tranquil setting.
