*The event has already taken place on this date: Fri, 05/01/2020
Explore the sky with the Bell Museum. We host free telescope observing nights monthly during the University's fall and spring semesters. The event is informal and family-friendly.

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

Please Note: No Planetarium Show Tonight

Telescopes

The evening continues outside with telescopes on the Ruth & John Huss Observation Deck. Our astronomy team will guide you through observations of the same celestial objects that have inspired sky-gazers throughout history!

Remember to dress for the weather! The event takes place rain or shine. In the case of extreme or poor weather, indoor activities will be planned in place of telescope observing.

Note: Bell Museum galleries are not open during Star Parties.
