Snowshoeing for the Whole Family - Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center

*The event has already taken place on this date: Sat, 02/08/2020
Join us to learn a fun winter activity the whole family can enjoy—from the smallest to the tallest. Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge is the perfect place to explore the winter woods, and snowshoe rentals are always free! We will cover the basics of snowshoeing and then head out to explore. If snow conditions are poor, we will go for a hike instead.

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

This program is offered in partnership with Becoming an Outdoors Woman - Minnesota

Registration is required to participate in this guided program. Self-guided snowshoe rentals are always available registration-free when snow depth is at least six inches.

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is committed to providing access to this event for all participants. Please direct all requests for adaptive snow equipment, sign language interpreting services, closed captioning or other accommodation needs to Cortney Solum. Please email Cortney_Solum@fws.gov with your request by the close of business on January 31, 2020.

*Times, dates, and prices of any activity posted to our calendars are subject to change. Please be sure to click through directly to the organization’s website to verify.
