Science of Space: Star Party at The Bakken Museum

Learn more about the stars, moon, and space travel through hands on activities and observe the night sky through telescopes from our partners, or, you can bring your own!
This event is free with museum admission. Visitors will have access to all of the museum exhibits as well as additional space activities. There will be several hands on table top experiments on a variety of topics such as phases of the moon, how we use light to learn about things in space, and innovations in space travel. Visitors will be able to take a virtual tour of our galaxy, make a memorable model, and celebrate the great thinkers who dare to explore the farthest reaches of our galaxy.
