Artists in Bloom Storytime: 11am-12pm
Bring your imagination caps and tapping toes. Gather with us for 30-minutes of playful stories,
rhymes, songs about Art and Artists. Stay longer to enjoy a hands-on process art project in our
Play and Learn area. These developmentally appropriate programs help your little one get
ready for school and life by reading, playing and creating together! Recommended for ages 0-6
with their grown-ups.
Button Collage, Water Painting and Chalk Walk: 10-4pm
Flip through some of our withdrawn materials to create your own wearable masterpiece! This
project combines our collections with the art of collage, and is great for ages 6-12. Or, decorate our library using an array of paintbrushes and chalk paints. Dance your way across the floor and see what shapes your body makes! Write your favorite book of the summer or leave a picture for a friend!
