Minnesota Zoo Llama Trek Opening Weekend

The Minnesota Zoo is excited to introduce Llama Trek 2019; an up-close and personal encounter with one of South America’s most environmentally important animals. Located on the Northern Trail, guests will enjoy a barrier free llama experience as they come face-to-face with these fun, colorful, creatures packed with personality. So come with us as we journey to the Andes, meet, feed and walk with the llamas. All this summer at the Minnesota Zoo.

Weekend Activities:
- Llama shearing demonstration 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. & 1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. at Llama Trek
- Learn more about llamas 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. & 2:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. at Llama Trek
- Music & games 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. on the Central Plaza
- Free llama plush (while supplies last) 9:00 a.m. on the Central Plaza
