Mall of America is proud to partner with Flags for Fort Snelling, KARE 11, RBCU + the Minnesota National Guard to provide a full weekend of Memorial Day Weekend traditions + events for Minnesota. For the first time in 35 YEARS, Minnesota is within reach of honoring every hero laid to rest at Fort Snelling National Cemetery with an American flag on Memorial Day. 200,000 Flags for 200,000 Heroes. Every volunteer + donation makes a difference in restoring this important tradition in the name of our fallen. Please join us on Saturday, May 26 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. for a Memorial Day celebration in the Rotunda featuring live music entertainment, Nestle Toll House cookie giveaways, red, white + blue themed face painting, meet + greets with our Security K9s, + many more fun activities!

Throughout the weekend, be sure to check out a number of displays + monuments available through Memorial Day on Monday.

• Fallen Soldier Table: Recognizing our fallen Service Members + honoring their sacrifice.
• Remembering the Minnesota Fallen Wall: Minnesota Survivor Outreach Services brings forward this Tribute to the Troops Wall as a way to help Survivors cope with their loss. This wall recognizes the Minnesota Fallen Soldiers + remembers the sacrifices made while serving our country.

• Spirit of America’s Story Wall: This Wall is a richly illustrated visual story of America's struggles for freedom, a visual walk through our countries history and our fight to be free. The goal is to capture + preserve the spirit, the sacrifices and rich history of the American people. For more information, please click the link attached.
