The Bell springs back to life with an after-hours evening celebration filling the museum with a lively blend of music featuring Ashley DuBose, DIY art-making, sneak previews in the Whitney and Elizabeth MacMillan Planetarium, refreshments, and more. Toast the new woolly mammoth with us and reach for the stars!

Be among the first visitors to the amazing Touch & See Lab and Collections Cove, sketch rare items from our educational collection, build your own mini diorama to take home, and find your inner scientist with fascinating demos and hands on activities throughout the building. We will be premiering the Bell original planetarium production of Minnesota in the Cosmos in the Whitney and Elizabeth Planetarium along with No Limits!, a journey through space and time, exploring some of the big questions that astronomy is trying to answer.
We’ll also have a variety of free experiences in the outdoor Learning Landscape between 9 am and 6 pm, including an interactive water rocket launching station and more.
Presales for both gallery admissions and planetarium show tickets are available, with an exclusive pre-sale period for Bell Members starting Tuesday, June 5 at 10am. Non-members can purchase available tickets starting on Thursday, June 7 at 10am.

Grand Opening: Sunday
Sunday | July 15, 2018 , 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
Opening weekend continues with the opportunity on Sunday to meet some of the Bell Museum curators and other researchers and scientists throughout the building. Like Saturday, we will be continuing sketching programs, science demos and hands-on activities, and make your own diorama stations.
Presales for both gallery admissions and planetarium show tickets are available, with an exclusive presale period for Bell Members on Tuesday, June 5 at 10am, going on-sale for the general public on Thursday, June 7 at 10am.
