Free Family Fishing Nights at Lake Phalen

No pre-registration necessary. Tips Outdoors will have all the equipment for you and your family to have fun fishing. Tips Outdoors experienced Mentors and Pro-staff are there to help your family have fun and success fishing!
Family Fishing Locations:
Location #1
West side of Lake Phalen, mid-lake at the DNR Fishing Pier.
From the South entrance into the park, park in the 3rd parking lot. Family Fishing will be at the fishing pier behind (North of) the Phalen Park Picnic Pavilion and at the bottom of the hill...look for the Tips Outdoors flag at the top of the hill and visible from the Picnic Pavilion and the middle to West most side of the parking lot. Location #2
Northwest side of Lake Phalen. There areas to fish Phalen Lake and and the channel running into Keller lake, and a DNR Fishing Pier on Round Lake. There are two parking lots, with one at the boat launch. (Map Link Below)

Need A Minnesota Fishing License?
Kids under the age of 16 do not need a fishing license. Those 16 years old and older must have a valid Minnesota Fishing License. You can find where to purchase a fishing license, or purchase your fishing license online at: http://www.dnr.state.mn.us/licenses/fishing/index.html?type=fishing#res (Tips Outdoors Mentors and Pro-Staff will be on site to help with any license purchases as well. No one will be turned away for the inability to pay.)
