Family Camping Skills at Kenwood Park

Description: Learn basic skills to prepare for a camping trip in the great outdoors. Skills include: setting up tents and other shelters, cooking, starting and building a campfire and planning day and multi day hikes. On May 11, the program will incorporate a presentation to learn about and from experiences of a seasoned camper and backpacker, a "vicarious adventure" of sorts.
