Campers learn all about playing this trendy instrument. Covering rock songs, campers will learn melodies and chords using easy-to read charts and TAB notation. By the end of the week theyâll have learned how to play song on the ukulele in tempo and with dynamics.

The ukulele is a great first instrument. With a small body and fewer strings that are easier on young fingers, itâs easy to fall in love with this instrument that has become hot again thanks to stars like Taylor Swift, Zac Efron, Will I Am, Jack Johnson and Eddie Vedder who play ukulele. It is also a great stepping stone to playing the guitar because itâs neck is smaller but a lot of the same chords shapes and melody patterns are applicable to both instruments.
Campers must bring their own ukulele.
