BEGINNER ELECTRIC GUITAR CAMP FOR KIDS WINTER 2018 at School of Rock Eden Prairie

Designed for ages 7-12, this camp is taught by professional musicians who specialize in teaching kids.
Our beginner guitar camp is three days (1pm - 4pm each day) that will teach complete beginners how to tune their guitar, familiarize them with the parts of the guitar and how to care for them, how to connect the guitar to the amp and how to work the amp properly to avoid feedback and blowing out the amp.
They'll also be exposed to the basic fundamentals of playing the guitar such as playing chords, strumming and picking while learning to play rock songs like 7 Nation Army by The White Stripes and Blitzkrieg Bop by the Ramones.
Students will need to bring their own electric guitar to participate in this camp.
Students will also need a pair of earplugs (can be purchased at School of Rock on first day of camp for $10).Bring a snack each day. We have a refrigerator to keep items cold and a soda machine (75cents). We have a water faucet but encourage you to bring a bottle of water with you.
We'll provide the amps, cables and tuners to use during camp.
