The 37th annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Tribute will take place on Thursday, January 18, 2018, 7:00-8:30 PM at Ted Mann Concert Hall. Doors will open at 6:30 PM. The event will feature various artists presented by The Avant Garde. Featured artists will include Jovonta Patton, Ashley DuBose, Niles, Delphin Starr, Meah Ismail and Daonna Lewis. The Avant Garde is a renaissance arts, music, and entertainment production company that was established in 2014. They specialize in creating outings that infuse multiple forms of art into one event (music concerts, visual art showings, dance performances, poetic readings, theater, etc.) along with producing music projects for the world to enjoy. The Avant Garde prides itself on producing an appeal that is unique, eclectic, original, cultural, and inspirational. Their mission is to provide great experiences for the local base with their international vision, all while creating a platform for maximum exposure for the best local talent. This concert is free of charge and open to the public; no advance tickets or reservations are required.
