Also, join us for Anoka's Annual Ice Cream Social is on Tuesday, July 4 from Noon - 3 p.m. The Anoka Kiwanis, City Council members, and individual volunteers will be scooping, pouring, and serving ice cold root beer floats from Noon – 3 p.m. at George Green Park, 1498 6th Ave.
Enjoy the sounds of the North Suburban Concert Band as they perform from the band shell. Try our lawn games, too. Bring your picnic basket, blankets, lawn chairs, and family and friends for a relaxing afternoon in one of Anoka’s many beautiful parks.
Remember, George Green Park is adjacent to the Anoka Aquatic Center, which will be open from Noon – 7 p.m. Continue celebrating the holiday by cooling off in the pool.
The City's Waste Reduction & Recycling Board is proud to sponsor organic cups, straws, and spoons for composting. Watch for the compost containers and drop those items in to reduce waste!
