Through improvisation and short scenes, use those skills to take risks, make strong character choices, develop character relationships and pursue objective. Broadway Dance

Broadway Voice

Students will be challenged to expand their skill set in a disciplined and technique-driven atmosphere. Join Jason and the Argonauts on an action-packed voyage to defeat mythic creatures, overthrow a mad king, triumph over betrayals and find what destiny has in store. For the middle school actor looking to take their skills to the next level. Learn stage combat technique, deepen character development and script analysis while rehearsing a fully produced play on our Cohen Stage.

Mainstage Musical Theatre Boot Camp (*Pre-Professional*)
This fast-paced interdisciplinary training program focuses on the in-depth musical theatre performance skills required for student actors performing on CTC’s mainstage. With an emphasis on learning, retaining and performing choreography and song, this course models the rigor, dedication and etiquette expected in professional rehearsal spaces. Students should have a foundation in basic ballet and jazz vocabulary and technique. It is pre-requisite that students have a mastery of pitch, projection and diction. Students will be held to a high standard for focus, stamina and work ethic. Enrollment in this boot camp does not guarantee casting in a mainstage production.
