Goodhue County has an interesting history which intertwines with the natural environment.

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
Citizens in the county often see the Mississippi River, beautiful bluffs, and even eagles! The Goodhue County Historical Society would like to celebrate this sense of place during a wild things themed Free Family Fun Day just as the weather starts to warm up again!

Bring your whole family to the History Center to learn about the beautiful environment that surrounds your family each day, learn how to identify edible plants (and try some for yourself), and discover how you can make a difference and contribute to environmental conservation!

Enjoy “The Raptors of Minnesota” program presented by The Raptor Center at 12 PM. The birds will not be left on view for the rest of the afternoon so, be sure to arrive promptly at 12 PM to experience the program!

Free admission and activities begin at 12 PM. This event is made possible through the support of Xcel Energy.
